When Karl Lagerfeld became the Creative Director of Fendi in 1965, he famously designed the iconic ‘FF’ logo in 5 seconds. Initially designed for the lining of fur coats, the FF stands for fun fur but is more commonly known as Zucca today. Over the years, the logo has been featured on everything from bags to ready-to-wear. The monogram also appears on many Fendi shoes. Sometimes it is embroidered or printed onto the shoes, and other times it is detailed on a buckle or the heels.
Karl Lagerfeld is also the man behind the Monster collection, which debuted on the FW 2013 runway. What started as just fluffy charms for bags and small leather goods, the Monster collection eventually grew into bags, ready-to-wear, and shoes. The Monster heels feature the distinct Monster Eyes motif. Sometimes they are furred, and sometimes they are studded.
Many occasions call for heels. Work, dates, events, to name a few, and you cannot go wrong with a pair of Fendi heels. Canvas wedges will make a worthy addition to your summer wardrobe, and suede pumps are a must-have for fall and winter. Black leather heels are timeless and versatile. Pointed toe silhouettes add a feminine touch to your outfit, and colorful heels add a little extra flair.
