The TVB community consists of a broad range of fashion enthusiasts. Here, you can buy secondhand products from a broad range of individual community members and professional sellers. You have different types of options depending on which type of seller you are buying from.


Items bought from an individual community member

If you have bought a product from an individual community member, but you change your mind after the purchase, you can always relist the item in the TVB community (circular fashion, yay!). If you relist within 72 hours following your receipt of the product you will not be charged any fees.

If you relist the product later than 72 hours following your receipt of the product, the regular terms and conditions for listing of products by private sellers applies (FYI this includes a commission fee, which will be charged when the product is sold). Check out section 2 of the terms and conditions for more information.

It is not possible to return a product bought from an individual community member.


Items bought from a professional seller

If you have bought a product from a professional seller, but you change your mind after the purchase, you always have the option of relisting the product in the TVB Community (yay, let’s make sure that products get their “time to shine” and are not just stored away). If you relist within 72 hours of having received the product you will not be charged any fees.

In accordance with regulatory requirements we also make sure that all our professional sellers are obliged to accept return of any undamaged and unused products, provided that you let them know no later than 14 days after the prodcut was delivered to you. As pre-owned goods typically do have some signs of use, we encourage you to take photos of the product (with proof of the date of the picture) as soon as you receive it to make sure that if you decide to return it, you can show the professional seller that you have not used the product.


Things to be aware of, if you want to return the product bought from a professional seller.

To return the product please reach out to our community care representatives following the procedure below, we will help you communicate your request for a return to the professional seller, and assist you with the practicalities of the return process (note that you must pay the shipping costs related to the return).

Please remember, if the product was accompanied by original boxes, dust bags, tags, and/or authenticity cards, they must also be returned with them.

Products will be inspected and checked to make sure that they are undamaged and unused before the professional seller is required to accept the return. During this process we will be in contact if any issues come up.

If you are residing outside the EU, please note that sales taxes, and customs duties are non-refundable.

Return procedure: Returning to our Copenhagen Showroom

Send an email to returns@thevintagebar.com, including your name, order number, the product(s) you do not want to keep, and the date(s) you are able to come to our showroom to complete the return.

One of our community care representatives will revert with a confirmation of the return appointment.

At the scheduled date & time, drop your return off in our showroom, which is located at Højbro Plads 21, 2nd floor, 1200 Copenhagen K, Denmark

Return procedure: Returning by mail

You can generate an automatic return label by following these steps:
1. Sign into your account: www.thevintagebar.com
2. Under “My Account” - access to “My Orders”
3. Press “Order Details” by the order you wish to return
4. Press “Return”

By following these steps, a label will be sent to you by e-mail.

Address your return to: The Vintage Bar Højbro Plads 21, 2nd floor, 1200 Copenhagen K, Denmark

To be eligible for return the product(s) should be shipped to us no later than 14 days after the product was delivered to you. Please keep your postage receipt as proof of this. In processing your return, we may request to see the receipt.

Remember to also keep your proof of purchase.

Want to make an exchange for something else in our collection? After you follow the steps above, send an email to our customer service representatives contact@thevintagebar.dk. Make sure to include your name, order number, the product(s) you do not want to keep, and the product(s) you would like instead. We will process the exchange as soon as we receive your original order.

What happens with my refund, from the time when the product has been shipped to The Vintage Bar?


Once we receive your return, the products will be inspected and checked to make sure that they are undamaged and unused before we inform the professional seller about your return. During this process we will be in contact if any issues come up. Please allow up to 5 business days for this process - as soon as it is complete, you will receive an email confirmation from us.

When the inspection has been successfully completed, we will work with the professional seller to complete the refund to your original form of payment or as a gift card which can be used for an alternative purchase from our community. Due to varying processing times, which are dependent upon your payment provider, refunds can take from 3 to 10 business days before they appear in your account. As soon as it is completed, you will receive an email confirmation from our team.

If you are residing outside the EU, please note that sales taxes, and customs duties are non-refundable.

Not in love with your gift? Exchange it for something else in our collection or return it for store credit.

All returns outside the 14-day period are assessed at our discretion. If accepted, you may only be refunded with store credit.

We strive to accurately describe and photograph the condition of each item. If you feel there is a discrepancy between how an item is portrayed on our site and how it appears when you receive it, do not hesitate to contact us at claims@thevintagebar.com.
